Neuropsychological Evaluations
Dr. Talbot evaluates patients for a number of neuropsychological conditions, including developmental disorders, such as autism; learning and attention disorders; and concussion and traumatic brain injury. She also evaluates patients for neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
Psychological Evaluations
Dr. Talbot evaluates patients for a broad range of psychological disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and other mood disorders; anxiety disorders, including panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and phobias; post-traumatic stress disorder; personality disorders; eating disorders; and psychotic disorders, such as schizophrenia. She also performs pre-operative psychological evaluations for patients undergoing bariatric surgery, gender confirmation surgery, and other surgical procedures.
Forensic Assessments
Dr. Talbot’s forensic practice includes performing court-involved comprehensive psychological evaluations, parenting capacity evaluations, personal injury case assessments, and violence risk assessments. Additionally, she assesses patients for competency to stand trial and competency to assume guardianship.
Consultation and Supervision
Training new therapists and sharing her expertise with her colleagues is important to Dr. Talbot. In this spirit, she offers training and supervision of doctoral interns and post-doctoral psychologists, most recently through the High Plains Psychology Internship Consortium. She also offers consultation and supervision services to master’s-level therapists.
